One in eight Americans are Californians. I am in that sun-loving, Pacific Ocean-swimming, avocado-eating 12 percent. But now, I'm indulging in a more down-to-Earth midwest lifestyle in Madison, Wisconsin.

I’m generally a content cynic, happy in my pessi-realistic view of the world. Although I’m not impulsive, I believe in taking chances and there's not much that scares me. I love swimming farther, climbing higher, and lifting heavier. And trespassing. Especially trespassing. I take the 5-second rule loosely. I have a penchant for uncomfortable subject matter. I walk fast & motorcycle faster.

The three words that excite me most are "Let's go somewhere."
